The Service

Prompt Creatures is an independent hobby project offering a digital creature game tied to coding activity, including multiplayer features such as a world map and battles. Features may change, be suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Eligibility & accounts

You must provide accurate registration information and keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must meet any minimum age required in your jurisdiction to enter into these Terms (and not be barred from using the Service under applicable law).

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Violate applicable laws or infringe others’ rights.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other users’ accounts, or underlying systems (including probing, scraping beyond normal browser use, or exploiting vulnerabilities).
• Abuse, harass, or harm other users; distribute malware; or disrupt the Service.
• Use the Service to send spam or unsolicited bulk communications.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code except where permitted by law.

Payments & sponsored features

Certain features (for example a sponsored label or similar visibility) may be offered for a fee. Prices and descriptions are shown at checkout or on the Service. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers. You authorize us and our payment partners to charge your chosen payment method for applicable fees.

All purchases are final. Except where required by mandatory consumer protection law in your jurisdiction, refunds are not available for any fees paid. If you believe a charge is erroneous, contact info@promptcreatures.fun promptly with details; we may review in good faith but are not obligated to refund absent a legal obligation.

Intellectual property

The Service, its branding, and original content are owned by the operator or licensors. You receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service as offered. You retain rights in content you submit; you grant us a license to host, process, and display such content as needed to operate the Service.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE OPERATOR AND AFFILIATES SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) FIFTY US DOLLARS (USD $50), EXCEPT WHERE LIABILITY CANNOT BE LIMITED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.

Indemnity

You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our willful misconduct.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice. You may stop using the Service at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive will survive termination (including payment/all sales final, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law).

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of Prompt Creatures resides, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Courts in that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes, subject to mandatory consumer protections where you live that cannot be waived.

Changes

We may modify these Terms. We will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
